I work at the intersection of business requirements, workforce-management processes and software integration.
Over more than 20 years in Workforce Management, I've worked across technical consulting, functional solution design, implementation leadership and project delivery. For more than five years, Boomi has been a central part of that work.
My focus is UKG Pro WFM integration: understanding what the business needs, translating that into a practical technical design, then taking it through development, testing, deployment and support.
That combination of technical and functional experience is particularly useful when the clean solution on paper doesn't quite match the systems, data or processes that exist in the real world.
BACKGROUND
Technical consultant.
Not just an integration developer.
My work includes UKG Pro WFM migrations, net-new implementations, payroll and scheduling integrations, Gaming solutions, Accruals and Leave, Person Demographics and multi-position workforce requirements.
I also bring a strong software-development background, including Java, alongside Boomi integration development and testing.
BEYOND THE WORK
A few things that keep me curious.
When I'm not working on integrations, I tend to gravitate toward things that involve a bit of curiosity, competition, or figuring out how things work.
I'm a bit of a vintage-technology enthusiast — the old equipment and gadgets around my office aren't just decoration. I enjoy the engineering, ingenuity, and occasionally questionable design decisions that went into them.
In the winter, you'll usually find me skiing, including a healthy dose of friendly competition in an Adult House League. I've also spent a fair amount of time on the water as a J/24 trimmer, racing competitively and competing in the J/24 World Championship several times. I haven't been sailing much lately, but I'm hoping to get back on the water.
Different hobbies, perhaps, but there is a common thread: I like learning how things work, working with good people, and seeing how far we can push the result.
